Data Mining Software | MATLAB

MATLAB or Matrix Laboratory is an excellent programming language used extensively in a wide range of areas like image processing, signal processing, mathematical and statistical analysis and many others. MATLAB is now widely used for data mining because of its ability to handle the various stages of data mining. It is well equipped with a number of powerful toolboxes like:

1. MathWorks Neural Network Toolbox
2. Fuzzy Clustering and Data Analysis Toolbox
3. Association Rule Miner and Deduction Analysis Tool
4. Decision Tree

Along with these toolboxes it has a powerful graphical capabilities. The time required to solve problems of data mining can be easily solved in a much less time with MATLAB compared to other languages.

For an open-source Matlab clone, try Octave.
